Woodcraft Shutters

Full height shutters are a popular choice, and it's easy to see why: the clean lines make a window look taller and give a smart, elegant finish, and a hidden tilt rod makes it sleeker still. But there are seven styles in all, and the best one depends on the window and the room.

Full height

The classic plantation shutter covers the whole window in one run and gives you total control over light, privacy and airflow. You can choose a visible tilt rod for a traditional look or a hidden one for a cleaner line, and a mid-rail or split tilt lets you control sections separately. Café style and tier on tier

Café style shutters cover only the bottom half of the window. You get privacy where you need it while the top stays open to daylight, which suits kitchens and street-facing rooms. Tier on tier shutters cover the whole window in two sections that open independently, so you can keep the lower half closed for privacy and let light in through the top.

Tracked shutters

Tracked shutters run on a bi-fold or by-pass track. They suit patio and conservatory doors, wide windows, built-in wardrobes and room dividers. Open them and light floods in. Close them and they divide the space.

Shutter & Shade

Shutter & Shade combines a shutter with a built-in blind that darkens the room. You get the classic shutter look by day and much better light reduction when you need it, which makes it a smart choice for bedrooms, nurseries and home cinemas.

Bay windows and unusual shapes

Bay window shutters are made for the exact angles of your bay. Special shaped shutters are for arched, angled and other non-standard windows, in our Bass Wood and Samoa hardwood ranges.
